A Hilltop Fairy-tale in the Heart of Umbria

When you think of a dream destination wedding in Italy, it is hard to beat the panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside. Perched high above rolling hills near Perugia, Castello di Rosciano provides a setting that feels cinematic, romantic and completely transportive.

In August, we had the honour of providing the soundtrack for Keith and Paige’s international celebration. Guests travelled from the US, Mexico, Spain, England and Ireland, creating a truly global gathering. With so many cultures coming together, the music needed to feel inclusive, uplifting and unforgettable from the very first note.

A Beautiful Ceremony with Blessings from Italy

The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, performed by the incredible team at Blessings from Italy. We performed as a 4-piece band with male and female vocals, guitar and keys, tailoring the music to highlight the special moments of the day.

  • Walking down the aisle: Wild Love by James Bay, performed as a slow, emotional cover by one of the female vocalists

  • After the ceremony: You’re the First, the Last, My Everything by Barry White

The ceremony struck a perfect balance of personal and celebratory, setting the tone for a day full of emotion and joy.

Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast

Following the ceremony, our drinks reception duo performed a mix of soulful and easy listening songs as guests mingled under the Umbrian sun. It was a relaxed, stylish atmosphere that let everyone connect and soak in the surroundings.

The transition to the wedding breakfast was seamless. Our music added warmth to the meal while leaving room for conversation, laughter and storytelling between guests.

Florals by Innamorati Pazzi added delicate bursts of colour and elegance throughout the venue, perfectly complementing the romantic Italian setting.

A Personal Soundtrack: Texas Country Meets UK Garage

Paige, proudly Texan, wanted a touch of home woven into the day. Country classics such as Should’ve Been a Cowboy by Toby Keith and Neon Moon by Brooks & Dunn became standout moments.

Keith, representing the UK, loves Garage, R and B and Hip Hop. Blending these two worlds, we created a setlist that felt personal, unexpected and completely electric. The dance floor stayed packed and guests from every continent joined in.

From 4-Piece Acoustic Vibes to a 7-Piece Showband

As the sun set and the celebration moved inside the castle walls, we expanded into a full 7-piece showband, adding bass, drums and high energy saxophone. The transformation was instant.

  • Intro as Mr and Mrs: All Your’n by Tyler Childers

  • First dance: Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder

  • Father-daughter dance: Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder

From the couple’s first dance through to 1:00 AM, the dance floor stayed packed. Guests who had arrived as strangers from different countries left as lifelong friends, exactly the kind of energy a destination wedding should create.
